Grace in Motion Summer Sunset Series: Adult Beginner Majorette Experience (6:00pm-7:00pm)

🩰 4 WEEK PROGRAM | Beginner (Intro) Adult HBCU Majorette Class Wednesday July 8th – July 29th 2026 | 1 Hour (Washington DC) | Payment Installment Plans Available

This class is about having fun and making connections through dance. No pressure at all! Bring a friend, and enjoy yourself while getting an amazing workout!

Learn the power, precision, and performance of HBCU-style majorette dance while building strength, flexibility, and confidence in a supportive community designed for adult beginners.

Perfect for complete beginners and adults who want to return to dance by starting from the very beginning.

Class Details:

  • Duration: 1 Hour (4 classes)
  • Class Type: Beginner (Intro) Adult HBCU Style Majorette 
  • Attire: Wear whatever you can move around in and what makes you comfortable/confident!
  • Location: The Atlas Performing Arts Center (formerly Joy of Motion Dance Center). 1333 H St NE, Washington, DC 20002

🩰 Your Instructor – Sianni Dixon

Sianni Dixon is a 25-year-old Philadelphia native and graduate of Morgan State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She began her formal dance training at the Philadelphia Performing Arts High School and continued developing her technique with Bodies in Motion Dance Company, building a strong foundation that supports over 10 plus years of dance experience.
 

During her time with Morgan State University’s Magnificent Marching Machine, Sianni served as both Captain and Co-Captain, exemplifying leadership, discipline, and excellence. She is also a Spring 2021 initiate of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Incorporated, and a proud current member of Bliss Dance Company & Desire Dance line. 

Sianni currently serves as the Head Coach of the Baltimore City College Silver Sensations Dance Line, where she is passionate about mentoring Dancers, and inspiring confidence, growth, and artistry in the next generations to come.Â
